Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the Mewra application for macOS ("the Application") and the mewra.app website ("the Website") operated by Mewra.

By downloading, installing, or using the Application or Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you do not have permission to access or use the Application.

1. License to Use

Mewra grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the Application strictly in accordance with these Terms. This license is for personal or internal business purposes only.

2. Subscription and Payments

Some features of Mewra require a paid subscription or a one-time purchase. By selecting a paid tier, you agree to pay the specified fees. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the end of the current billing period. All payments are securely processed through our payment provider (e.g., Stripe, Paddle) and are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.

3. User Data and Privacy

Mewra is designed as a local-first application. We do not store, process, or sell your local tracking data. For more details on how we handle optional cloud integrations and analytics, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

4. Third-Party Services (AI and Git)

Mewra provides integrations with third-party AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) and Git platforms (e.g., GitHub).

  • You are responsible for obtaining your own API keys for cloud AI providers if you choose not to use the built-in integrations or local AI models.
  • You must comply with the terms and policies of any third-party services you connect to Mewra.
  • Mewra is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of these third-party services.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Application for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the service. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Application, except where permitted by applicable law.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mewra and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Application. Mewra is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind.

7. Modifications to the Application

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Application or Website (or any features within them) at any time, with or without notice.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Mewra entity is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
